Big things are happening in Wrightsville!

SAMBA is thrilled to announce that groundbreaking for the Wrightsville Bike Park is about to begin! This new community-built and maintained bicycle skills park will transform the wooded area beside the Vine Street baseball fields into a vibrant, family-friendly space for riders of all ages and abilities.

The park will feature a pump track for all skill levels, plus intermediate and expert jump lines designed to challenge and inspire progression. This park will create a place where beginners can build confidence and experienced riders can push their limits. It’s a project rooted in community pride, creativity, and a shared love of riding.

Meet the Rivermoor Trail Builders

The vision for the Wrightsville Bike Park was brought to SAMBA by the Rivermoor Trail Builders, a talented local crew of lifelong riders and builders who’ve helped shape trails across Central PA. Together, they’re combining decades of experience to create something truly special for the Wrightsville community.

Brett Carper – Construction Manager and longtime Lancaster Bicycle Shop employee with decades of racing and trail-building experience.

Matthew Stoner – Trail designer and former Voodoo Skatepark owner with a lifelong passion for BMX and creative trail design.

Rob Warrenfeltz – Trek Lancaster store manager, national-level BMX racer turned all-around cyclist, deeply rooted in the Central PA bike scene.

Matt Krofcheck – U.S. Air Force veteran, product designer, and community organizer with a love for building spaces that bring riders together.

These four builders bring the perfect mix of passion, craftsmanship, and community spirit, and SAMBA is proud to partner with them to make this vision a reality.

A Park with Purpose

Bike parks like those in Chambersburg, Carlisle, Ephrata, and Lebanon have already shown how powerful these spaces can be by turning underused land into dynamic community hubs where kids learn skills, families gather, and riders of every level find their flow. The Wrightsville Bike Park will carry that momentum forward, offering a new outdoor destination and a sense of hometown pride.
