Hershey Medical Center (HMC) Trail System
NOTE: TRAILS CLOSED AT THIS TIME! STAY TUNED FOR MORE INFORMATION! CLOSED AT THIS TIME! STAY TUNED FOR MORE INFORMATION!
SAMBA is actively working with the folks at HMC regarding future access to these trails and will be working to make the trails amazing when they are ready to be opened again. DO NOT RIDE THESE TRAILS AT THIS TIME – as riding may jeopardize future access!
Hershey – The Sweetest Place On Earth now has some of the sweetest trails on earth!
SAMBA partnered with Penn State University at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center Campus to develop 10 miles of new trails with options for users of all skill levels.
Trails can be accessed traffic-free from the surrounding communities using the Eshenour Memorial bike path.
The trail system is divided into two distinct areas, the East side and the West side.
The unique terrain is generally rocky and rugged and while the East side offers more open, flowing trails, the West side is more technical and challenging. Enjoy!
Night riding is permitted on HMC trails until 9PM. SAMBA highly recommends never riding at night alone and riders to have two lights; one mounted on the handle bar and one mounted on the helmet.
DIRECTIONS TO TRAILHEAD: From Bullfrog Valley Road, turn LEFT onto Life Lion Drive. Turn RIGHT onto Meadow Wood Drive. Turn RIGHT onto Reservoir Road and follow to trailhead parking adjacent to the gate at the end of Reservoir Road. Please don’t park in the grass.
