Big news for Marietta 🚲🌲

SAMBA is incredibly excited to officially announce the Marietta Woods Trail Project!! A brand new shared-use trail system coming to Furnace Hill Park.

This project has been in the works for a while, and it’s going to create something really special for our community.

The plan includes progressive trail loops for all skill levels along with a Bicycle Playground near Front Street Park featuring rollers, berms, bridges, and other skills features designed to help riders build confidence and have fun.

But honestly, this project is about more than bikes.

It’s about giving kids a place to grow, giving families a reason to spend time outside together, and creating new ways for people to experience the Susquehanna River corridor and the Northwest Lancaster River Trail.

Construction is expected to begin in the coming weeks, and we’ll be sharing volunteer opportunities throughout the summer for anyone who wants to help bring this vision to life.

Huge thanks to the Borough of Marietta, local businesses, first responders, Endo Collective, Hush Money Bikes, and everyone else helping make this happen.

Special recognition goes to Marietta resident and cyclist Jake Sitler of Endo Collective, who will serve as Trail Director for the project.

We can’t wait to start building!
