It’s Hunting Season, folks! That means Camp Mack is closed to mountain biking for many days until the end of the year.
Currently, the days to avoid Camp Mack itself are:
- Oct 6, 2025 – Jan 19, 2026 – Closed Monday through Friday
- November 29th – December 13th, 2025 – Closed EVERY DAY to accommodate Sunday Hunting days.
Please respect other trail users during this time and avoid Camp Mack during this time frame.
The trails surrounding (but not ON) Camp Mack are on State Gameland and are closed during hunting season (including Sunday hunting days). These include:
- The Horseshoe Trail
- Explorer Lodge Trail
- Spring Trail from the Pumping Station lot
