It is our pleasure to announce that Harrisburg City Council voted unanimously to approve Resolution 78 on Tuesday night. This was our resolution that officially states the partnership between the City of Harrisburg and SAMBA to work together to develop the Parkway Trail system in South Harrisburg. With the resolution passed we can proceed to work closely with the Solicitor’s office to navigate through the final steps of the project and make the trails a reality by Spring 2016. This resolution was the planned next step after we received our Volunteer Stewardship agreement back in August. See the complete (but short) story from Penn Live here:
