Kayla brings a deep passion for community, stewardship, and of course, bikes—values that align perfectly with SAMBA’s mission. From her earliest days of dodging driveway chihuahuas to creating core memories on two wheels, Kayla’s love for biking runs deep.
Kayla works at The Common Wheel, a nonprofit bike shop, where she has led numerous impactful projects, hosted mechanics clinics and advocated for expanded mountain bike access in Lancaster. Her experience, combined with her enthusiasm for connecting people through cycling, makes her an incredible asset to the SAMBA team.
As Communications Director, Kayla will play a vital role in strengthening SAMBA’s connection with the community. Whether it’s sharing news about trail workdays, celebrating events, or spreading the stoke for mountain biking, Kayla’s dedication to clear, creative, and engaging communication will help bring SAMBA’s mission to life.
When she’s not on the trails or brainstorming ways to elevate SAMBA’s outreach, you can find Kayla enjoying a little pastry with her morning coffee, appreciating surrealist art, or spending time with her four-legged friends.
