SAMBA is a 100% volunteer organization and we would not be able to develop, build or maintain trails without the our hard-working and dedicated volunteers. These folks have sacrificed their time and rides and contributed hundreds of hours to construct and maintain the trails that you ride.Thank you to all our volunteers for everything you did in 2021.
SAMBA’s top volunteer with most hours invested and overall contributions is Mark Moreira for the fourth year in a row! Mark made sure the Parkway Trails remained clear and open and also participated at almost every work day @ Rattling Creek. Mark also volunteered during this year’s BASH. We can’t thank Mark enough for his fierce dedication and sacrifices again this year! You rule!
SAMBA would also like to recognize the outstanding contributions that Emory Ehrenfeld has made to the organization. Emory has sacrificed a lot of riding time to become a weekly volunteer at our expansion project at Rattling Creek and is always one of the hardest working members of the crew, setting a great example for others. He also helped build the original Rattling Creek trails back in the 90’s. He has a deep knowledge of mountain biking, always keeps a smile on his face and can talk about bikes and trails all day! As if that wasn’t enough, Emory was able to make a VERY generous monetary donation to the organization to further demonstrate his commitment to improving and developing new MTB opportunities in our region. THANK YOU Emory, we appreciate all that you have done and all that you will do in the future.
