SAMBA BASH 20 X 2 September 17 to 20, 2020 Online registration ends September 16 at 5:00pm.  Click here to register!! Early Bird registration ends June 15th.   The BASH at Camp Muckelratz is a rain or shine non-competitive mountain bike weekend in the Weiser State Forest on the Rattling Creek Trail system.  SAMBA holds the event to generate funding to pay for the upkeep and expansion of the Rattling Creek IMBA Epic.  For a map go to : http://sambabiker.com/samba/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/207_RattlingCreek_Map.pdf Directions to BASH You can Camp all three days, camp one night or just come up and enjoy the main event on Saturday September the 19th. Saturday the 19th  Guided IMBA Epic Rides on Saturday.  Aid stations out on the Epic on Saturday stocked with cold water and snacks to keep you going. Group rides will be available for all levels of riders from shorter rides to the full IMBA Epic. Breakfast:  Serve yourself Bagels and Coffee in the cabin Lunch:  On your own Dinner:  Forrest Feed BBQ : Pulled Pork,mac n cheese, potato salad, baked beans, and slaw! Evening Activities:  Bike Toss, and campfire Saturday evening ***Additional entertainment TBD***   PRICES GO UP JUNE 15 SO REGISTER EARLY!    For those wanting the full SAMBA Bash Experience! Gates open Thursday at 1 pm. Camping is available Thursday, Friday and Saturday Nights! Camping is primitive with portable toilets, outdoor shower facilities and no hook-ups.  We have very limited electric connectivity if needed for medical devices. HMC East Side Trails Closed effective December 1st, 2019

Notice: Starting December 1st, 2019, HMC Trails on the East side will be closed for the next two months. Penn State is implementing a land management plan that involves the removal of invasive species and creating a healthy forest. Unfortunately, this will involve timbering the east side. DO NOT RIDE ON THE EAST SIDE. West trails will remain open. Pending weather, it is expected that the foresting will be completed by mid-February 2020. This will be a three-year project so expect closures during the next few winters. SAMBA Announces Opening of Ephrata Bike Park at Heatherwood

Our area’s first Bike Park is now officially open for riding in Ephrata! The project was a partnership between SAMBA, Ephrata Borough, Mainspring of Ephrata, Green Mountain Cyclery, and local brewers at St. Boniface Craft Brewing, Black Forest Brewing, and Pour man Brewing Company! The park consists of a beginner trail and an advanced trail totaling 1.5 miles, a pump track, balance bike track for the little ones, two bridges, dirt jumps and three skills areas.  It is located just a couple blocks from downtown Ephrata adjacent to the Warwick Ephrata Rail trail (WERT). The park offers fun for riders of all ages!  It is the perfect place to learn to ride and develop skills necessary to build the confidence to make mountain biking a lifetime...
